A vintage Missoni halter dress in a warm bronze knit, cut through with the house’s unmistakable zigzag pattern in red, turquoise, cream and soft blue.
The dress wraps across the front and fastens at the waist with buttons, creating a softly defined shape before falling into a fluid skirt. Up top, the deep V halter neckline and open back keep the silhouette very 1970s-Missoni-in-spirit, even though the exact decade of this piece has not yet been verified. The knit does most of the work here: metallic-looking bronze, graphic chevrons, and movement everywhere.
Made in Italy from a rayon, wool and nylon blend, the fabric has a lightweight drape with enough structure to hold the wrap silhouette beautifully. It is one of those pieces that looks even better once it moves.
The dress presents very well overall, with the colours, knit, buttons and original Missoni labels all remaining well preserved.
