Vintage 1990s Versus by Versace Tropical Botanical Stretch Dress

A very 1990s Versus by Versace dress in a surreal tropical botanical print, splashed across a cream ground in saturated fuchsia, magenta, plum and flashes of red.

Cut with a plunging V neckline, softly gathered bust and a small tie at the centre front, the dress skims through the waist and hips before releasing into a fluid flared hem. Fine straps cross at the open back, keeping the silhouette light, slinky and very much made for heat.

The print is where things get strange in the best way: stylised tropical flowers sit alongside motifs that resemble carnivorous pitcher plants, seed pods and curling botanical forms. Less Hawaiian postcard, more carnivorous greenhouse after dark. Very Versus.

Made in Italy from a soft 92% viscose / 8% elastane blend, the fabric has generous stretch and a smooth, fluid hand that follows the body without feeling rigid. The original Versus labels, size tag and composition tag remain intact and well preserved.
