A Versace mini skirt from Spring/Summer 2005, printed with vivid red coral, cream seashells, seahorses and elaborate baroque scrollwork across a pale pink ground.
Cut in a fitted silhouette, the skirt features an asymmetric wrap-effect front with an overlapping panel, front slit and extended pointed tab. The clean, compact shape keeps the focus firmly on the marine print, where natural-history illustrations meet the house’s signature ornamental excess. Basically, the Mediterranean after being told subtlety was optional.
The smooth stretch-cotton fabric gives the skirt comfortable structure, while the tonal pink lining creates a clean finish against the body. Made in Italy, the original Versace label, tagged size and composition label remain present.
The print remains bright and clearly defined, while the fabric, lining, seams and overall structure remain well preserved. Minor marks are shown in the detail photographs and described under Notable Flaws.
