Louis Vuitton by Marc Jacobs Vintage Monogram Wood Platform Bow Mules

A pair of Louis Vuitton Rivoli mules from 2011, combining classic Monogram canvas with glossy dark-brown leather bows, metallic-gold insoles and sculpted cork platforms.

The slip-on silhouette features a squared open toe and wide Monogram canvas vamp, topped with layered patent-leather bows stitched directly across the front. Small gold-tone studs trace the outer sides, while the cork platform sweeps upwards into a sharply arched sole and slender black stiletto heel. A logo bow, gold footbed and cork platform. Apparently one texture was never going to be enough.

The curved construction gives the pair an almost carved quality from the side, with the natural cork grain contrasting against the polished heel and dark patent trim. Metallic-gold leather insoles bring another flash of shine beneath the foot.

Made in Italy and tagged size EU 38, the pair retains its original Louis Vuitton Paris branding and has been fitted with textured Vibram sole protectors beneath the forefoot for added grip and preservation.

The mules present well overall and remain structurally sound, with visible signs of wear consistent with age and previous use.
