Shown on the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2017 Ready-to-Wear runway as part of the house's Tropico Italiano collection, this structured bustier centres a richly embellished Sacred Heart motif among dimensional floral appliqués, crystal-detailed buckles, decorative logo ribbons and illusion mesh.
Boned construction gives the bodice its sculpted shape, while printed silk shoulder bows soften the structure and allow the fit to be adjusted. Beadwork, embroidery, sequins and appliqué remain vibrant and largely intact, and the interior is clean and well maintained.
The runway styling paired the bustier with a black open-weave skirt, sheer hosiery and floral head adornment, placing its devotional imagery inside the collection's exuberant celebration of Southern Italian visual culture.
The size tag is missing. Minor fraying is present along some cut edges of the decorative logo ribbon tails, with very light fraying to small sections of the illusion mesh and occasional loose threads consistent with careful vintage wear. No obvious significant stains, holes, tears, repairs or missing embellishments were observed.
