Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2004 Abstract Floral Hook-Front Corset Top

A documented Dolce & Gabbana corset top from Spring/Summer 2004, cut in the collection’s psychedelic abstract floral print in olive, acid green, orange, pink and cream.

Built close to the body, the top features shaped bust panels, curved contour seaming and a fitted waist, with adjustable black shoulder straps and delicate black scalloped trim framing the neckline. A full row of hook-and-eye fastenings runs down the centre front, giving the piece its unmistakable lingerie-meets-tailoring construction.

The print is pure early-2000s Dolce & Gabbana: swirling florals, paisley-like curves and retro botanical shapes packed across the stretch fabric in a palette that should not work this well, but absolutely does.

The same abstract floral print appears in Dolce & Gabbana’s SS2004 runway collection, including on Anouck Lepère, while related corsetry in the print was featured in Vogue Italia, March 2004. Runway and editorial receipts. We love paperwork when it looks like this.

Made in Italy from an 81% nylon / 19% elastane blend, the top has substantial stretch while keeping the sculpted shape intact. The original Dolce & Gabbana label, size tag, care label, adjustable straps, hook-and-eye fastening and construction remain well preserved.
