A richly embellished D&G Dolce & Gabbana tank top in black, combining a fitted sleeveless silhouette with an elaborate floral appliqué front and a completely sheer floral lace back.
The front is layered with raw-edge printed floral appliqués, metallic embroidery, pearl-like beads and turquoise-and-white beadwork arranged into flowers and leaves. A multicolour rhinestone D&G logo is worked into the composition, adding another hit of sparkle without interrupting the handmade, collage-like feel. The front is doing a lot. Correctly.
Turn it around and the mood changes completely: the entire back is cut in delicate black floral lace, creating a sheer contrast against the dense embellishment at the front. The result feels equal parts lingerie, craft and very early-2000s D&G.
Made in Italy and tagged size S, the piece remains exceptionally well preserved. The appliqué, beadwork, rhinestones, lace, seams and overall structure remain intact and present beautifully for its age. Exact year and composition have not yet been independently verified.
