Christian Dior by John Galliano S/S 2002 “1947” Gothic Logo Tank Top
Description
A | Excellent Vintage Condition
A Christian Dior by John Galliano tank from Spring/Summer 2002, cut in black with vivid red binding tracing the neckline and armholes and oversized Gothic lettering across the front.
The graphic is pure Galliano-era Dior: CHRISTIAN DIOR rendered in dramatic blackletter across the chest, then a large red “1947” across the back in reference to the year Christian Dior founded the house. A very simple tank shape carrying absolutely enormous branding. Exactly the point.
Cut in a fitted sleeveless silhouette, the top sits close through the body while the contrast red trim sharpens the neckline and armholes. The black-and-red palette keeps the piece graphic, direct and unmistakably early-2000s Dior.
The original Christian Dior Boutique Paris neck label remains present and well preserved. The size and composition labels were removed by the previous owner, so the original tagged size and fibre content cannot be verified. Please refer to the garment measurements for fit.
The piece presents exceptionally well for its age, with the Gothic logo print remaining vivid and clearly defined and the exterior fabric, trim, seams and overall structure well preserved.
