A Galliano-era Christian Dior halter corset from circa 2001, rendered in an exceptionally rich deep green lace that reads almost black in low light and jewel-toned up close.

Built with underwired cups, sculpting seams and sheer mesh panels through the torso, the corset shapes the body while keeping the construction visibly lingerie-inspired. Wide halter straps frame the neckline, while floral lace, scalloped edges and the softly flared lace hem keep the silhouette delicate against all that structure.

The colour is what really makes this one. Somewhere between bottle green and deep forest, it gives the lace a much richer, moodier finish than standard black. Dark enough to feel severe, green enough to make you look twice.

The back is finished with a close hook-and-eye fastening, maintaining the fitted corseted shape while the sheer lace and mesh continue around the body.

Made in France and tagged 90B, the piece retains its original Christian Dior and interior sizing labels. Exact season has not been verified; comparable Galliano-era Dior corsetry dates to around 2001.
