A rare 2005 Christian Dior Detective bag from the John Galliano era, rendered in rich cognac-brown crocodile-embossed leather with dramatic multi-scale texture and antiqued silver-tone hardware.

Cut in an oversized structured dome silhouette, the bag features twin wrapped top handles, a double-zip closure, two buckle-fastened front cargo pockets, gusseted side pockets and signature Dior logo hardware at the centre front. The embossed surface shifts between large rectangular and smaller rounded scale motifs, giving the bag an especially dramatic, tactile finish. Galliano made a brown top-handle bag look like it carries secrets. Naturally.

Inside, the bag is lined in black Dior jacquard and fitted with a zipped pocket and Christian Dior Paris Made in Italy plaque. The interior code reads 05-MA-1025.

Overall, the bag retains its structure beautifully and presents exceptionally well, with light wear consistent with careful vintage use.
