Chanel S/S 2001 Watercolour CC Logo Silk Pleated Skirt
Description
A | Excellent Vintage Condition
A Chanel silk pleated skirt from Spring/Summer 2001, printed in saturated washes of violet, fuchsia and soft pink with repeating interlocking CC motifs worked into the watercolour-style grid.
Cut in a fluid midi silhouette, the skirt sits cleanly at the waist before falling into soft pleats that open through the body and hem. The sheer silk outer layer moves beautifully over a matching silk lining, giving the print depth without losing its lightness.
The pattern is the main event: painterly squares blur into one another across the purple ground, with small CC logos appearing almost like signatures inside the print. Very Chanel, but with the edges softened. Less logo repeat, more watercolour fever dream.
Made in France from 100% silk with a 100% silk lining, the skirt is finished with an engraved CHANEL PARIS button at the waistband. The original Chanel label, size tag, care label and style reference remain intact and well preserved.
The piece presents exceptionally well for its age. The colours remain vivid, the pleats retain their shape and the silk remains fluid and delicate throughout.
