A pair of Balenciaga Square Knife mules in glossy black python-effect leather, finished with oversized gold-tone BB hardware across the pointed toes.

The silhouette is pure Balenciaga: sharply elongated at the front, cut low along the foot and balanced on slender 12.5 cm stiletto heels. The open backs keep the shape clean and easy to slip on, while the squared upper line gives the mules their distinctive architectural profile.

Raised BB monograms sit prominently over each vamp, bringing a heavy flash of gold against the tightly embossed black leather. Severe point, sensible heel, enormous logo. Subtle was never invited.

Made in Italy and tagged size 39, the pair retains its original Balenciaga-branded leather insoles and leather outsoles.

The mules present exceptionally well overall and remain structurally sound, with only light signs of previous use.
